Google unveils News & Weather App for iPhone and iPad

Google has come up with the Google News & Weather app for the iPhone and iPad. Google already has Gmail, Chrome, Google plus, You tube, Google Drive, Google Maps, Hangouts etc for the iOS devices. The app wil bring you local news and weather as well as headlines from a variety of categories and sources, so you will be getting so many things all in just one app. The Google News & Weather App 1.0, comes with 60 different country settings and users can get local news and weather based on their location. The new Google News & Weather app for iOS has brought the Google account sign-in option for personalised news and coverage from 65,000 publications for the users.

You can download this 10 MB app from the App Store for free. This app will be available for all iOS devices running 7.0 or later. The app has compatibility with the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. Google has updated the News & Weather app and named it News & weather app 2.0 for Android in the month of August that had come up with Google account sign-in option for personalised news and enhanced support for tablels. The update also brings the help and feedback option along with quick access for add and remove news sections.


Google has recently updated the Chrome for Android reaches to version 38. The new Google Chrome version 38 brings new APIs and more Material Design. You will have more visual consistency and smooth browsing. You have to check for this update in your device and download and install it. If you haven’t received the update notification then you have to wait for a few more days. The new Google Chrome 38 version will bring Support for Battery Status and Screen orientation API, you will get additional Material Design updates, Content spoofing with scrollbar and Llts of bug fixes and improvements in performance.

The search giant had launched the Android One phones in India, saying the move is part of a “larger initiative to bring high-quality smartphones to as many people as possible.” It announced the first Android One smartphones – the Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas A1, and Spice Dream Uno . All three smartphones were priced at Rs. 6,399. The Karbonn Sparkle V will be available in Magnum Blue, Mild Grey, Wild Red and Pearl White colour variants exclusively via Snapdeal, you can buy the Micromax Canvas in Black and White colour variants exclusively via Amazon, and the Spice Dream Uno will be offered in Black and White colour variants exclusively via at Flipkart.
